How do I ensure that emails aren't blocked by spam filters?
Last updated on November 30, 2023Many email programs have spam filters. These filters automatically scan incoming emails to stop unwanted emails before they reach your inbox.
How
Add Elsevier's email domain to your safe senders list (i.e. @ecommerce.elsevier.com, @mendeley.com, [email protected], @editorialmanager.com, @notification.elsevier.com, @3d4medical.com, or other addresses ending on @elsevier.com).

To add Elsevier to your Outlook safe senders list, do the following:
- Select 'Home'. Click on 'Junk' then 'Junk E-mail Options.
- If you don't see 'Junk', select the ellipses (...) on the right and choose 'Junk', then 'Junk E-mail Options'.
- Select the 'Safe Senders' tab.
- Select 'Add' to add addresses to the safe list.
- Click 'Apply' then 'OK'.
- Open the 'Windows Live Mail' tab.
- Go to 'Options' and click 'Safety Options…'
- Click on the 'Safe Senders' tab.
- Click 'Add…'
- Type in the Elsevier email address and click 'OK'.
- Click 'Apply' and then click 'OK'.
- Open the email from Elsevier to add to the safe list.
- Click on Elsevier's email address at the top of the email.
- A list of options will appear on a drop-down.
- Click on 'Add to Address Book'.
- Your Elsevier email will be automatically added to your Apple Mail safe senders list.
- Click 'Gmail'.
- Select 'Contacts'.
- Click 'New contact'.
- Click 'Add name' and type Elsevier as the name for this contact.
- Add the Elsevier email address in the 'Email' field.
- Click 'Save now'.
After completing these steps, all emails from Elsevier should arrive in your email inbox. If you believe you're still not receiving emails from Elsevier, please contact us using one of the options below.
